Prutha Jain

My name is Prutha Jain. I am a visual artist, from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, with a bachelor's in Sculpture from V.N.S.G.U Surat in 2019 and Master's from Shiv Nadar University, Noida in 2021. Previously I have had the opportunity to work with Compound 13 Lab, based in Dharavi Mumbai as the Project Coordinator, and with St+art India Foundation in Ahmedabad. My works are an attempt at understanding the local vernacular of a region vs. the classical, which enjoys mobility, and understand through it the classical of contemporary. While using democratized mediums of interactions and collaborations. My vision for the fellowship is to contribute to a safe empathetic co-learning space and respond to issues on the ground level.
